Calyx

The Calyx is specialized bone well that allows the Surgeon to harvest autogenous bone while cleansing drills in sterile saline and organizing them for osteotomy. It has six (6) flutes carved at the perfect angle to store drill bits during surgery. Moreover, at the bottom of the Calyx, there is a precisely carved indention designed to catch autogenous bone that has been deposited during surgery. The Calyx thus increases the surgeon’s efficiency and reduces or eliminates his or her need for expensive bone graft material that, unlike the live bone material harvested directly from the patient, does not contain living cells.
