About

Surgeon’s Hands, LLC is a company that sells innovative dental implant products designed to decrease a surgeon’s failure rate, increase patient comfort, and simplify the process of placing dental implants. All of our products are proudly made in the USA.

The instruments at Surgeon’s Hands were designed by Dr. Charlie Buist — a dentist who has devoted his life to unraveling the mysteries of implant dentistry and moving the field toward a better future. Moreover, Dr. Buist has received patents from the United States Patent Office for most of the instruments. In addition to creating instruments and processes to improve implant dentistry, Dr. Buist is passionate about teaching and mentoring young dentists on their paths to becoming better surgeons.

“With the Surgeon’s Hands instruments, you can place implants atraumatically; split the ridge; expand the bone; redirect the osteotomy; compress available bone; and place the implant. As a result, you will achieve increased primary stability, which allows for early loading without sacrificing autogenous bone. All of this is done by hand, without a handpiece.”

"I have been using Surgeon’s Hands instruments for over two years. They have helped me to hone in and master implant dentistry in the maxilla, and they have helped me to learn more about placing implants anywhere. These hand instruments allow you to get a better feel for the placement of the implants. You can feel the change in density in the bone and manipulate the bone in thin ridges. These instruments have helped me to place implants that I wouldn’t have been able to place without them. These instruments are a must for any dentist placing implants.”

“I can use the Surgeon’s Hands instruments on almost every implant case. However, there are unique cases where, after 22 years of dental surgery, the instruments allow me to eliminate foundation surgeries. Thus, not only are the instruments applicable to routine procedures, they also make many impossible surgeries possible in tough situations.”
